Through my hands, broken into fingers
2026 - ongoing

The series explores how contemporary forms of loneliness, comfort, and longing are experienced through the mediation of digital devices. I assemble scenes in which isolated characters rest in states of waiting and exhaustion, in domestic interiors where objects, bodies, and spaces collapse into one another.
I developed a workflow based on photogrammetry that allows me to produce photographic images with altered perspectives and visual qualities close to paintings. I build the set on location and use my smartphone’s camera to scan models, textiles, objects, and interiors, later processing these fragments into 3D assets that I digitally assemble into larger compositions inspired by traditional painting. The workflow itself is central to the work because it transforms surfaces in a particular way: blankets lose their softness and become rigid shells, while bodies appear hollow and fragile. Within the software, objects become endlessly manipulable while simultaneously remaining frozen in their original position, allowing me to force proximity between elements while their form remains unchanged. Errors and distortions generated by the scanning process are also integrated in the work.
